Poipoia provides a wide range of resource management services including cultural impact assessments, local and central government planning support and advocacy and can enable you to integrate kaitiakitanga into your organisation. We also provide businesses the opportunity to improve their engagement on environmental matters with Māori.
Poipoia was founded by Tina Porou, to create spaces and opportunities for kaitiakitanga to lead the way in caring for our natural environment in Aōtearoa. We believe that in following and honoring the kōrero of our tipuna, we can live in alignment with our taiaō while still supporting the aspirations of our whanau.
Poipoia was established in 2016 and prides itself on supporting Māori practitioners to grow our mātauranga and our capacity across multiple spaces reliant on te taiao.

Our Mission
To grow a generation of tangata tiaki steeped in mātauranga ā hapū to care for our environment and to support Taiao centered economies.
